Food critic Opeyemi Famakin has alleged that Cuban Chief Priest, a popular Nigerian socialite, sent him a threatening message after he posted a review of Chief Priest’s restaurant in Imo State.
Famakin, who visited the restaurant and shared both the positive and negative aspects of his experience, initially received a public comment from Cuban Chief Priest that appeared cordial.
“Thank you for stopping by, Foodie. Stay blessed, G,” the comment read.
However, Opeyemi later shared a direct message that he claims was sent by a Cuban chief priest, which seemed to take on a more menacing tone.
The message read, “Karma is real, and you must pay for whatever you sow in life. I don’t fight low life’s; I leave them to Karma.”
The message further pointed out that the restaurant is owned by Chief Priest’s six-year-old son, which added an emotional layer to the response.
Opeyemi, now concerned for his safety, has decided to leave Imo State.
In a public statement, he warned Nigerians, “If anything happens to me, you know who to hold responsible.”
The food critic’s post has sparked conversations on social media, with many calling for caution and accountability regarding the Cuban Chief Priest’s reaction to the review.
