Twi Names of Ghanaian Herbs Herb refers to a herbaceous plant in botany, which is defined as a tiny, seed-bearing plant without a woody stem that dies back to the ground at the end of each growing season. Herbs have numerous applications, including culinary, medical, and spiritual. Other languages being considered include Ewe, Hausa, Bono, and Nzema. The herbs listed below are used by some communities in Ghana and Africa to treat and manage human diseases.
