Bisi Alimi Criticizes Christians Mocking Lord’s Chosen Church Testimonies

Bisi Alimi, a gay rights activist, has lashed out at Christians, criticizing the testimonies of members of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Church for their shocking reviews of how God has helped them, but it seems very funny and unnecessarily exaggerated to most people.

Alimi took to his Instagram page to point out that other Christians, in spite of mocking these testimonies as exaggerated or unbelievable, are no better than those they ridicule in any way because they also haven’t made any change.

He highlighted that if Christians can accept miraculous stories from other churches, such as “driving miles without fuel” or “drinking tea with God,” then they should not judge the Lord’s Chosen members for their faith or how they have described God’s miraculous work.

“If people can believe Winners Chapel members or Pastor Adeboye’s tales, then Chosen members’ testimonies shouldn’t be mocked,” Alimi said.

Alimi further argued that Christianity in Nigeria has turned into a place where people blindly follow teachings, leading to irrational beliefs that can push other people’s faith wrongly if not strongly firm.

He concluded, “So laugh all you can at the cult of the chosen, but you and your pastors are not any better than them.”

His comments aim to draw attention to the inconsistencies in how different Christian groups view faith and miracles in an exaggerated manner.
