Is Mr Ibu really dead? – Find out the truth

On Wednesday 13th December, 2023, rumours broke out the veteran Nollywood actor, John Okafor popularly known as Mr Ibu is dead.

Is this rumour true or false?

As at Wednesday afternoon, news of Mr Ibu’s demise circulated the internet.

Though we couldn’t point out who started circulating the rumour, but they were social media posts alleging that it was Ibu’s cousin that shared the fake news.

However, we at Naijweb.ng can confirm that Mr Ibu is not dead.

The news of his demise is only false and it is meant to mislead the public.

Though few weeks ago it was reported that Mr Ibu had one of his legs amputated due to an infection of the arteries at his ankle that was not detected early enough.

The actor has since been in the hospital receiving treatment.
