Nigerian Radio Presenter Shares Harassment Ordeal, Reveals She’s Been Stalked and Followed Home

Benin City radio presenter Joyce Chuks has opened up about her experience with sexual harassment on the job, sharing disturbing details of being stalked, followed, and receiving explicit messages from men.

In a post shared on September 23, Joyce revealed the challenges she faces as a public figure, particularly the unwanted attention and inappropriate advances she’s encountered from male admirers.

“This is small. I’ve had men turn up at my job to wait for me outside.

I’ve been stalked and followed to my house and my church. In fact, a friend has been stalked alongside me,” she explained, adding, “This is what it means to work in public as a woman.”

Joyce also shared a screenshot of an explicit message sent to her through her workplace’s official line, in which a man made lewd comments about her body.
