An unidentified lady was found abandoned by the roadside on Asikolaye Street in Osogbo, Osun State, on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
The woman, whose behavior appeared erratic, was discovered by residents who suspect she may have fallen victim to ritualists, often referred to as “yahoo yahoo” boys.
Moreover, witnesses reported that the lady was well-dressed but seemed unable to speak or identify herself, raising further suspicions about her ordeal.

A local resident, Baba Lekan, explained the discovery to journalists, saying,
“The lady was dumped here overnight.
She wasn’t around on Saturday, but by Monday morning, we saw her lying helplessly.
She can’t talk, and we believe those Yahoo boys must have used her for money rituals.”
Furthermore, the strange circumstances have left the community deeply concerned about her safety and well-being.
The incident has prompted calls for immediate action from the Osun State government and relevant authorities.
“We urge the government to come to her aid and investigate this issue.
It’s becoming more dangerous for young women out here,” added another resident.
