Nigerian gospel singer Mercy Chinwo and her husband, Pastor Blessed, have shared heartwarming family photos as they celebrate their son, Baby Charis, on his first birthday. The aim is to appreciate God and show a heart of gratitude.
In a post shared on her Instagram page today, October 4, 2024, the elated mother expressed her gratitude to God for blessing their family with Baby Charis, describing him as a “smart, handsome, and blessed child,” she stated happily.
“We are so emotional and overwhelmed by God’s goodness and His marvelous grace upon our family,” Mercy wrote.
The family quoted Malachi 3:12 to emphasize their joy, stating,
“Then all nations will call you blessed, for your household will be such a delight,” while thanking God for his unending favor.
They also offered prayers for their son, asking that he “grow in wisdom and in stature” and “continue to find favor with God and men. She prayed.
The couple, who tied the knot in August 2022, welcomed their son in October 2023.
