Iran’s Supreme Leader Warns of Further Attacks on Israel, Calling Missile Strike ‘Legitimate Response

Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has stated that the recent missile strike on Israel was the “least punishment” and vowed to launch more attacks if necessary because they won’t let the death of the dead go in vain.

In his speech delivered on Friday in Tehran, Khamenei defended the ballistic missile launch, which Iran claims was retaliation for the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, who died in an Israeli airstrike last week as a result of the operation carried out.

Khamenei praised the attack as “completely legal and legitimate,” highlighting Iran’s ongoing support for Hamas and Hezbollah due to the incident that occurred that day.

“Israel will never defeat Hamas and Hezbollah,” Khamenei declared, further adding, “The people of Palestine have the right… to stand up for themselves.”

His comments emphasized Iran’s role in the regional conflict, stressing that future actions could follow if not careful.

This escalation, however, raises concerns of further violence in an already volatile region.
