Singer Spyro has advised his fellow celebrities to remain grounded, reminding them that fame is a privilege, not a birthright.
In a recent Instagram post, the gospel artist emphasized that being a celebrity is solely by the grace of God and should not make them feel entitled to be “worshipped,” especially when acting unkindly towards others.
He noted that celebrities should use their influence for good, showing kindness and humility rather than self-importance.
Spyro’s reflection was inspired by the late Sound Sultan, who left a lasting impact on him.
He shared a personal story of witnessing Sound Sultan’s act of kindness, chasing down a thief who stole someone’s phone at a party, even though he didn’t know the victim.
“He is gone now, but his legacy lives on.
A little kindness will go a long way,” Spyro remarked, highlighting the long-term effect of simple acts of humanity.
In his post, Spyro encouraged his peers to realize the ripple effect their actions have on society.
“You can kill millions of destinies just by moving wrong, and yet you can give life by doing right,” he said, urging celebrities to embody humility and show kindness to those who look up to them.
He concluded with a powerful reminder:
