An unidentified crossdresser in Abuja was attacked and forcibly stopped by a group of people after being confronted over his appearance, which is not accepted by them and just doesn’t seem right.
The incident, captured in a viral video, shows the crossdresser being questioned before the group took matters into their own hands, forcibly removing his clothes in public due to how it appeared and occurred to them.
The attackers later warned him not to dress in such a manner again before letting him go and to also give him a second chance.
However, the public display of violence has sparked debate about the appropriateness of taking the law into one’s hands.
While some may disagree with the crossdresser’s choice of clothing, many argue that the attackers themselves committed an offense by violating the victim’s rights through jungle justice.

Two wrongs do not make a right, and such acts of vigilante justice can lead to tragic outcomes if unchecked.
This attack comes just two months after the murder of another crossdresser known as “Abuja Area Mama,” whose lifeless body was found along the Katampe Mabuchi expressway.
Incidents like this highlight the need for addressing conflicts through lawful and non-violent means, as well as respecting each individual’s rights to avoid further violence.
