The company behind Bluetooth earrings that resemble the ones worn by Kamala Harris during her recent debate has addressed allegations that she used the device to cheat while facing Donald Trump during the event that occurred.
Critics speculated that the pearl earrings Harris wore, which are thought to be from Tiffany’s, could be Bluetooth-enabled audio devices manufactured by German start-up NOVA, due to their visual similarity in the brand, which has got people talking. 90
Malte Iversen, managing director of Icebach Sound, the company behind NOVA, said in a statement, “We do not know whether Mrs. Harris wore one of our products.
The resemblance is striking, and while our product was not specifically developed for presidential debates, it is nonetheless suited for it.”
The company remained neutral on the matter, neither confirming nor denying Harris’s use of their product to ensure the safety of their own brand image and also their relationship with other companies.
In a lighthearted tone, Iversen offered Trump a chance to level the playing field, saying,
“To ensure a level playing field for both candidates, we are currently developing a male version and will soon offer it to the Trump campaign,” he stated for there to be a balance.
However, he joked about the challenges of matching the device’s colors to Trump’s complexion.
This act is seen to calm the situation and resolve the issue in a more dialogue manner, which, in other words, calls the attention of both parties to work on their intentions to derive a good point that will be beneficial to them.
