Controversial Nigerian crossdresser Okuneye Idris Olarenwaju, popularly known as Bobrisky, recently sparked fresh debate after sharing a video on Instagram showing him surrounded by private security, boasting of having a godfather who ensures his protection and doesn’t want his life at stake.
In the now-deleted v ideo, Bobrisky is seen being shielded from the rain by men in suits, while he confidently captioned,
“When you have a godfather somewhere that says you all must protect my Queen,” showcasing the presence of the new security.
The video quickly raised eyebrows, with many questioning the extent of his influence and connections that have led to him reacting in a rash manner.

This follows previous accusations by social media users and personalities, such as Solomon Buchi, who speculated that Bobrisky’s lifestyle is being funded by powerful figures due to several incidents that occurred and made it visible to people.
Buchi had taken to X earlier in the year to question, “Who is Bobrisky’s political godfather in Nigeria? Why is the Nigerian government a puppet to Bobrisky?” he stated.
Bobrisky’s actions continue to raise concerns about the perceived partiality in Nigeria’s justice system, with many believing that his ties to influential individuals have kept him from facing repercussions for alleged illegal activities. He has caused many innocent souls to suffer as a result of his rash attitude, which is not really welcome among people.
This has led to wider criticism of the country’s handling of high-profile figures and the way issues are being addressed whenever it comes to him and other prominent celebrities in society.
