Amidst bribery allegations linked to him and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), popular Nigerian crossdresser, Bobrisky, has taken to faith, seeking solace in scripture.
The accusations surfaced when social activist Very Dark Man (VDM) shared an audio recording that purportedly captured Bobrisky admitting to paying N15 million to EFCC operatives to drop money laundering charges against him.
The audio was reportedly shared by a U.S.-based man who also claims Bobrisky failed to return a loan of N4 million while he was in jail.
Bobrisky, however, has denied the allegations, asserting that the audio is fake and part of a larger scheme to discredit him.
The EFCC has taken the matter seriously and launched an investigation, inviting both Bobrisky and VDM for questioning.
Meanwhile, in response to the controversy, Bobrisky shared Bible verses on his Instagram Stories, indicating his reliance on God during this challenging time.
Quoting Psalms 46:1, he posted, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
Furthermore, the celebrity’s decision to go spiritual amidst these allegations reflects his strong faith.
Bobrisky’s public display of his trust in God despite the accusations suggests his confidence in eventually clearing his name.
He continues to stand firm, stating that “God never fails,” urging his followers to remain courageous even in the face of adversity.
