His family confirmed his death on Sunday, September 29, stating that Kristofferson “passed away peacefully” at his home on Saturday.
In a heartfelt statement, his wife Lisa, along with his eight children and seven grandchildren, expressed their gratitude for the time they had with him.
“We’re all so blessed for our time with him,” the family wrote.
