Nigerian music icon Dapo Oyebanjo, popularly known as D’Banj, has released his much-anticipated fifth studio album, “The Entertainer: D’Sequel.”
This new project, which serves as a sequel to his 2008 hit album “The Entertainer,” marks a significant milestone in his two-decade-long career.
The album, a fusion of Afrobeats and Afropop, boasts collaborations with top Nigerian artists like Phyno, Timaya, and Zlatan, as well as international stars, including Grammy Award winner Wyclef Jean and American singer Akon.
Expressing his excitement about the album, D’Banj reflected on his journey as an artist.
“Life is a maze of self-discovery, and my new album, ‘The Entertainer—D’Sequel,’ confirms this truth to me. It’s a true reflection of my growth as an artist and my continued commitment to pushing the boundaries of African music,” he said.
The album features eleven tracks and two bonus songs, showcasing his evolution while staying true to his roots.
