Sean “Diddy” Combs, recently arrested over allegations of sex trafficking and sexual abuse, is facing renewed scrutiny after a 2011 interview resurfaced where he joked about inviting Prince William and Prince Harry to one of his infamous parties.
The music mogul, known for his lavish “Freak Off” parties, made the comments during an appearance on the Graham Norton Show, years before the current legal allegations came to light.
In the interview, Diddy humorously remarked that the royal brothers had once been on his party guest list.
“Not anymore; they’re off the list. But before, when they were young bucks, they were getting up to trouble themselves.
So I was like, ‘Hey, why don’t you come out and hang with me?'” Diddy said.
However, evidence is yet to be found that Prince Harry or Prince William ever attended any of these parties, but the mention has added fuel to the media storm surrounding Diddy’s legal battles.
Moreover, Prince Harry’s name was mentioned in one of the civil lawsuits against Diddy, though the Duke of Sussex is not accused of any wrongdoing.
The lawsuit claims that Diddy’s association with high-profile figures, like Harry, drew people to his events.
In spite of the growing controversy, there has been no direct link between the royal brothers and the serious allegations now facing the rapper.
