Eintracht Frankfurt Mourns Loss of U19 Coach Helge Rasche in Tragic Car Accident

Eintracht Frankfurt has been left devastated following the tragic death of their Under-19 head coach, Helge Rasche, who passed away in a car crash on Thursday, September 5.

The 33-year-old coach lost his life when his vehicle veered off the road and collided with a tree near Dietzenbach and Rodgau, southwest of Frankfurt.

The Bundesliga club confirmed the heartbreaking news in a statement, expressing their grief and extending condolences to Rasche’s family and friends.

“Eintracht Frankfurt is devastated by the loss of U19 head coach Helge Rasche. Our thoughts are with his family and friends,” the club shared on social media.

 German football rivals Borussia Dortmund also paid tribute, stating,

“We too mourn the loss of Helge Rasche and would like to express our deepest sympathy. Our thoughts are with him and his family.”

Reports from BILD revealed that Rasche’s car suffered severe damage, and he tragically succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The football community has been shaken by the loss of such a young and talented coach who had made significant contributions to Frankfurt’s youth teams since joining the club’s youth department in 2020.

 Rasche’s passing is a painful blow not only to his family but also to the football world, where he had been making a lasting impact.
