Actress Halle Berry has dismissed her ex-husband Eric Benét’s claims of struggling with sex addiction since she had stayed with him before and they once had a thing together.
In a recent podcast interview, Berry expressed her skepticism, stating, “I don’t f*_ing believe that s_*.”
Benét had previously sought treatment for sex addiction in 2002, during their marriage, which has just come to light after all this while.
Berry and Benét’s marriage ended in divorce in 2005, following infidelity issues that had occurred amidst them.
Both have since moved on, with Benét marrying Manuela Testolini in 2011 and Berry finding love with Van Hunt in 2020.
Berry has spoken publicly about her relationship with Hunt, describing it as her longest and most fulfilling partnership to date.
It’s refreshing to see both exes have moved on and found happiness.
Berry’s experience serves as a reminder that sometimes it’s better to acknowledge when a relationship isn’t working and move on rather than holding on to pain and bitterness.
