History Made as Captain Kelechi Ndukwe Becomes First Nigerian to Command US Navy Warship

Kelechi Ndukwe, a Nigerian-born US Naval officer, has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first Nigerian to command a US Navy warship.

 “Ladies and gentlemen, meet the newest US Navy Captain Kelechi Ndukwe.

The first Nigerian to have command of a US Navy warship! Congratulations on your promotion, Captain! Well deserved!!!” Agunbiade wrote, highlighting the significance of this achievement.

 Ndukwe’s promotion serves as a powerful motivation for others, particularly young Nigerians, to pursue their goals relentlessly.
