JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon has denied endorsing former President Donald Trump, countering a false statement Trump made on social media.
The denial came after Trump inaccurately claimed via his Truth Social account that Dimon had endorsed him for the 2024 presidential election.
However, a spokesperson for JPMorgan Chase, Joe Evangelisti, clarified,
“Jamie Dimon has not endorsed anyone. He has not endorsed a candidate.”
Moreover, this isn’t the first time Trump has falsely claimed endorsements.
The post in question, which gained traction among Trump supporters, appeared to have originated from X (formerly Twitter) and later spread to Truth Social.
Meanwhile, Trump reportedly told NBC News that he was unaware of the post, despite it remaining visible on his account.

Dimon, who had previously shown support for Republican candidate Nikki Haley, has made no public comments endorsing Trump.
Furthermore, concerns have been raised about the former president’s transparency and integrity, particularly with recurring false claims regarding high-profile endorsements.
In August, Trump falsely claimed pop star Taylor Swift’s support, despite her later endorsing Kamala Harris.
This growing trend has led to skepticism among potential voters who question whether such behavior aligns with the values they seek in a leader.
