Nigerian footballer Jude Ighalo has expressed frustration towards his ex-wife, Sonia Ighalo, following her recent Instagram post where she laughed at rumors suggesting he is expecting a child with his fiancée, which triggered his reaction.

In response, the Al-Hilal striker took to his Instagram Stories to share his thoughts, addressing the ongoing public drama between them to avoid further reoccurrence.
“Rest naaa for Christ’s sake.
Even the devil dey rest sometimes,” Ighalo wrote, adding that he is tired of the “lies upon lies” being spread about him even when he is not interested.
His post, accompanied by a video of a speaker discussing betrayal using the example of Jesus Christ, hinted at his disappointment over the continuous back-and-forth with Sonia regarding the online situations.
Ighalo emphasized that he is more focused on his daily responsibilities, stating, “I’m too busy to look at my daily bread to stress about irrelevant things.”
Ighalo concluded his message by expressing a hope for resolution and change, saying,
“I pray you find peace.”
His post highlights his desire to move on from the constant public disputes while urging his ex-wife to let go of the past and focus on her own life for future sake.
