Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw was left stunned after a fan sent her a direct message on Instagram, brazenly asking for N35 million that has never been in negotiation or existence before.
The veteran actress took to her X (formerly Twitter) handle to express her disbelief and call for an end to such outrageous demands, leaving one speechless, thinking, and unable to address, which can at the same time make one feel bad.
Henshaw, who has always been known for her down-to-earth personality, shared her thoughts on the absurdity of the situation that has made her voice out.
“There must be a thought process that goes through people’s minds that I can’t fathom,” she wrote.
“How do you send a DM to someone and ask for N35 million? How? Why?”
She went on to emphasize that fans often forget celebrities face their own struggles and financial responsibilities regardless of their position.
“If you can’t afford what you want, why not wait till you can or defer till you have saved enough? Stop it! Just stop!!” Henshaw added.
