A Nigerian model named Anointing, who was once dismissed by local modeling agents and told he didn’t have what it takes to make it in the industry, has achieved global success after his photos appeared on major billboards across the UK.
Despite the harsh rejection he faced from agents in his home country, Anointing refused to give up on his dream of becoming a model, and his determination has now paid off in a big way.
In a series of videos shared on social media, Anointing proudly showed off his first global campaign for a major UK brand, with his image displayed on electronic billboards in various UK streets and malls.
Reflecting on his journey, he shared a screenshot of a message from a Nigerian agency that once told him,
“You’re not model material… I hope you stop calling me.”
Anointing responded by continuing to chase his passion, saying, “This is my dream.”
“This is your sign to never stop chasing your dreams no matter what!” the model advised in his motivational post, encouraging others to believe in themselves despite negativity.
His success story is a testament to the power of perseverance and staying true to one’s aspirations, regardless of external criticism.
