Pro Football Hall of Famer and ESPN personality, Shannon Sharpe, has expressed deep embarrassment after he accidentally streamed an intimate moment on Instagram Live.
Sharpe, who is known for his professionalism and privacy, explained that the incident occurred when he threw his phone on the bed while engaged in a private activity, unknowingly activating the live feature.
“I’m embarrassed for a number of reasons. People count on Shannon to be professional, even when I’m behind closed doors,” he said.
Sharpe further explained his disappointment, noting that the unintended broadcast has affected how others perceive him.
“I’m very disappointed in myself, not for the act. There are millions and billions of people of consenting age who participate in activities… I did not know IG Live.
I’ve never turned IG live on, so I don’t know how it works,” he stated, addressing the mistake.
Following the incident, Sharpe was offered $100,000 by a porn site, ‘The Porn Dude,’ to participate in adult content.
The company said, “If he’s looking to make a career change, tell him we’ve got a jersey ready for him!”
However, Sharpe has not responded to the offer, as he continues to deal with the fallout from the accidental broadcast.
