The Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) has announced the deportation of 61 foreign nationals in August 2024 as part of its ongoing efforts to tackle irregular migration.

“The NIS eased out 61 foreign nationals to address irregular migration.” In addition to the deportations, the NIS facilitated 8,352 Visas on Arrival as part of Nigeria’s new visa policy.
