Professors from the University of Port Harcourt’s Department of Animal Environmental Biology (AEB) delighted their students by showing off some unexpected dance skills that were really a shock to everyone.
In a video that quickly gained attention on social media, students cheered on their lecturers as they took turns on the dance floor, displaying youthful and trendy dance moves, which will be described as an amazing moment for students that have never seen that side of the professors.
The impromptu celebration followed a joyous occasion where some of the lecturers were promoted to the rank of professor due to the joy that filled everyone’s heart.
Their performances not only entertained but also served as a lighthearted way to connect with students, showing that even in academia, there’s room for fun and celebration to relieve stress that has been piling up for a very long time.

One student noted that the display of excitement from the professors sent a motivational message to students, encouraging them to persevere in their studies while also reminding them to find joy along the journey; in other words, they should learn to balance it accurately so they don’t miss the exact time.
The event created a bond between the staff and students, breaking the usual academic atmosphere with some well-deserved fun that was needed considering the whole economic situation.
