Rapper DaBaby has avoided jail time after reaching a settlement in a civil lawsuit connected to an alleged assault during a 2020 music video shoot when the issue transpired.
The incident occurred at a California home owned by Gary Pagar, who accused DaBaby of physically attacking him after a dispute over filming regulations during the production of Stunna 4 Vegas’ video for “Play You Lay,” one of his albums.
Court documents filed on September 27 confirm that both parties have reached a global settlement, signaling an end to the legal battle incidents that have transpired.

The lawsuit arose from an altercation where Pagar alleged that DaBaby punched him, causing him to lose a tooth, he explained.
However, with the settlement in place, DaBaby is looking to put the incident behind him; that is, he wants to move ahead and let bygones be bygones for the good of everyone.
Meanwhile, DaBaby is focused on his music career, having dropped his latest project,
“How TF Is This A Mixtape?” on the same day the settlement was finalized.
In spite of the controversy, DaBaby seems intent on moving past the legal troubles to maintain his public image and career.
