Reality TV Star Pere Criticizes “Surgically Manufactured” Beauty

Reality TV star Pere has stirred conversation on social media by shading women who, in his view, rely on “surgically manufactured” beauty instead of embracing their natural features.

In a recent post on X, the former BBNaija housemate praised women whose beauty he considered to be a true reflection of God’s creativity, contrasting them with those who have opted for surgical enhancements.

Pere clarified that his comments were not directed at any former BBNaija participants but were intended to spark thought about the value of natural beauty.

“There are some women you see, and you’d be like, ‘Goooood God! God Dey create.’ Not the surgically manufactured ones, natural beauty,” he wrote, stressing the importance of appreciating the way one is created without resorting to cosmetic procedures, which can be life-threatening.

His statement suggests that he may have encountered situations that prompted him to share this perspective.

While he didn’t intend to offend anyone, Pere appears to be urging women to reflect on the implications of altering their bodies surgically, suggesting that true beauty lies in what is naturally given, and warning that surgical enhancements may not last forever and can cause future body damage such as body slacking and spending more expenses on unnecessary items to keep up with the beauty that you have built up for yourself.
