House Republicans call for President Joe Biden’s impeachment, accusing him of using his office for personal gain in a $27 million influence-peddling scheme during his tenure as Vice President.
The investigation, which began in September 2023, has uncovered what Republicans describe as
“one of the most egregious abuses of power uncovered in the history of the United States.”
According to the report, Biden and his family allegedly engaged in a global scheme, monetizing his position to benefit from foreign entities, an action that Republicans believe warrants impeachment if substantiated.
The Republican-led inquiry has presented evidence suggesting that President Biden “knowingly participated” in activities designed to enrich his family through questionable dealings with foreign nationals, including those in Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Russia, and China.
Furthermore, as much as $18 million was allegedly funneled through shell companies and third-party entities, while another $9 million was reportedly secured by Biden family associates.
The report further states that Biden’s interactions with these foreign patrons created an implication of access to the then-Vice President in exchange for financial contributions.
“Joe Biden’s participation in his family’s influence peddling represents…one of the most egregious abuses of power uncovered in the history of the United States,” the report alleges.
Republicans argue that if the accusations are proven true, President Biden should be held accountable to set a precedent that no public official, regardless of their status, is above the law.
The investigation’s findings are expected to play a crucial role in the upcoming discussions in Congress, particularly as Biden’s legacy faces probe.

However, Democrats, maintain that Biden did nothing wrong, portraying him as a supportive father rather than a participant in any illicit activities.
