Sarah Martins unleashes follower identity who begged for money

Nollywood actress Sarah Martins recently took to social media to address an incident where a follower insulted her after unsuccessfully begging for money.

The actress shared screenshots of the conversation, where the follower initially requested N100,000 to start a business. When Martins did not respond, the follower resorted to calling her an “old woman.”

Martins, frustrated by the audacity and entitlement displayed by the follower, publicly responded, stating that she, too, has her own problems and responsibilities.

“Take your problems to God… comot for my DM, because I’ve got my own problems too!” she wrote on her Instagram.

She emphasized that just because she is a public figure does not mean she is obligated to help everyone who asks, and she added that the follower’s insults further disqualified her from receiving any assistance.

The actress also clarified that she is not like singer Chike, who famously gave a follower N1 million after being insulted by a follower.

“I’m not a Chike; I don’t give money to people who insult me.”

Martins stated, highlighting the importance of mutual respect, even in interactions with celebrities.

Her post serves as a reminder that public figures face their own challenges and deserve to be treated with respect.
