“This is Why You Don’t Give Up” – Lady Gaga Responds to Former Classmates’ Facebook Group Mocking Her Dream of Fame

Stefani Germanotta, popularly known as Lady Gaga, has responded to her former classmates from New York University who once started a Facebook group that was created then, titled

“Stefani Germanotta, you will never be famous.”

The Grammy award-winning singer, born Stefani Germanotta, addressed the hurtful page, saying,

“Some people I went to college with made this way back when.

This is why you can’t give up when people doubt you or put you down—you gotta keep going.” she stated.

Her reaction followed a viral TikTok video showing the Facebook page that mocked her during her early days at NYU, juxtaposed with images of her holding an Oscar and listing her numerous achievements after the incident.

Over the years, Gaga has earned 13 Grammy awards, two Golden Globes, and 18 MTV Video Music Awards, proving her former detractors wrong.

Fans praised Gaga’s perseverance in the comment section of the viral post, calling her success “the best revenge” and noting that she became “THE FAME.” after all the tough experiences she has passed through.

Gaga has been open about her struggles with bullying throughout her high school and college years, and her story serves as a powerful reminder to never give up on dreams, no matter the critics; just try to pull out as a great one.
