Former US President and current Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump, has disclosed that he is facing assassination threats from Iran.
In a statement on X, formerly Twitter, Trump shared that Iran had previously made attempts on his life and warned that they are likely to try again, he altered.
He emphasized that the entire US military is on high alert, ensuring his safety by fulfilling their duty.
“Big threats on my life by Iran,” Trump wrote. “The entire US military is watching and waiting, observing what their next move will be like.
Moves were already made by Iran that didn’t work out, but they will try again.
Not a good situation for anyone,”
he continued.
“I am surrounded by more men, guns, and weapons than I have ever seen before. Thank you,” he stated.
Moreover, Trump’s disclosure comes after being briefed by US intelligence officials about the looming threat.
