The tragic killing of “General Hospital” star Johnny Wactor has led to murder charges against two of the four men arrested in connection with the crime.
On Monday, August 19, Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón announced that 18-year-olds Robert Barceleau and Sergio Estrada have been charged with Wactor’s murder, an act that has cut short the promising career of the beloved actor and left his family and fans in mourning.
Barceleau faces an especially grave charge, including a special circumstance allegation of murder during an attempted robbery, which could result in life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.
In addition to the murder charge, he has also been charged with one count each of attempted robbery and grand theft, both committed while armed with a firearm.
Estrada, though similarly charged with murder, attempted robbery, and grand theft, does not face the special circumstance allegation, leading to a slightly less severe potential sentence.

The case is being addressed with the seriousness it deserves, ensuring that no family has to endure the pain of losing a loved one in such a brutal manner.
