In a revealing statement, UK-based Nigerian pastor, Prophet Tomi Arayomi, has highlighted a concerning statistic from a recent study, which found that 60% of pastors all over admitted to watching pornography.
Pastor Arayomi shared his thoughts on the issue in a Facebook post on Thursday, noting,
“It tells me something. Most pastors aren’t bound by sin. We’re bound by our title. It’s time we de-stigmatize this so we can deal with it.”
The pastor’s candid revelation suggests that he may have encountered or observed this issue within his own experience, possibly even resisting pressures to conform to such behaviors.
Arayomi emphasized the need for pastors to maintain their integrity and stand firm in their faith, recognizing the importance of their role as spiritual leaders and the impact their actions have on the faith of their believers and followers in Christ.
“We are the Bible people read nowadays,” he stated, urging pastors to remain steadfast in their commitment to God and to serve as true role models for their congregations all over and wherever they find themselves.
These statements have been made to encourage pastors serving God to serve him truly and with all sincerity in order for them not to be looked down on and be highly respected instead of hearing all sought-after things about them in social media and all over the country in terms of negativity.
