Man arrested for allegedly killing court clerk who brought him a court summon in Adamawa

The Adamawa State Police Command have arrested a 43 year old man known as Linus Dimas, a resident of Kugama Wuro Jibir, Mayo Belwa Local Government, for allegedly murdering a court clerk who went to serve him a court summon. 

In a statement released by the spokesperson of the state police command, SP Suleiman Nguroje, on Monday 18th December, the suspect rejected the court summons served to him from Yauba Usman, a staff of Nasarawo Jereng Area Court and stabbed him with a knife severally, inflicting deep cuts on him.

Nguroje said that the court clerk was immediately rushed to Hospital where he was confirmed dead upon arrival.

He added that the Commissioner of the Adamawa State Police Command has directed that the case be discreetly investigated.
