Social critic Very Dark Man (VDM) has responded to rapper Falz’s demand for an apology over his reaction to a controversial audio recording involving Bobrisky.
In the audio, Bobrisky allegedly claimed that Falz and his father, Femi Falana, were contacted to help secure a presidential pardon for him.
Falz, through his lawyers, demanded a retraction from VDM for what he considers defamation. However, VDM insists he did nothing wrong.
In a video posted on Instagram,
VDM stated, “I did not defame Falz, and I stand by it.
I will see you in court.”
He added that he spoke with Falz, who acknowledged the phone conversation with Bobrisky but disputed details about who initiated the call and the amount of money involved.
VDM argued that Falz should have directed his response to Bobrisky, who made the claims, rather than targeting him.
“What I expected Falz to do was address that letter to Bobrisky, requesting that he clear your name on that voice call, not coming for me,” VDM said.
He further questioned how Bobrisky managed to make calls from prison and raised concerns about corruption, accusing authorities of mishandling the situation and allowing certain privileges for those who can afford to bribe their way out.
